Product Overview
The bonding primer is mainly composed of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) or Vinyl Acetate (VAC) through physical cross-linking, forming a three-dimensional network structure. These materials focus on surface compatibility, with particle size distribution controlled between 5-15μm. They effectively fill micro-pores below 0.1mm on the base surface, increasing surface roughness. Its primary role is surface modification. The micron-sized particles form an "anchor effect" on the surface, increasing roughness to Ra3.2-6.3μm, significantly enhancing mechanical adhesion for subsequent layers. On porous materials like aerated concrete, the bonding primer can fill over 80% of the pores, with a penetration depth typically not exceeding 1mm, mainly improving surface compatibility.
Key Selling Points
• Powerful Penetration: Penetrates into capillaries and strengthens the base structure.
• Increased Adhesion: Enhances the bonding force between mortar/putty and base surfaces.
• Alkali and Water Resistant: Effectively prevents surface alkali migration and mold growth.
• Easy Application: Can be applied by rolling, brushing, or spraying without the need for specialized tools.
• Environmentally Friendly: Water-based formula, non-toxic, and odorless, suitable for DIY use at home.Application Scope
• Surface Compatibility Treatment: On surfaces such as glass, metal, or smooth tiles, the interface agent enhances surface activity and adhesion.
• Treatment of Lightweight Materials: On porous surfaces like aerated concrete or gypsum board, the interface agent effectively seals pores to prevent coating collapse.
• Quick Renovation Projects: With a drying time of 1-2 hours, it is suitable for fast-paced local repair projects.Storage & Transportation
• Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area at temperatures no lower than 5°C. Avoid squeezing, tilting, or overturning the packaging.
• Sedimentation during storage is normal; stir before use.
• In high-temperature environments, the viscosity of the product may decrease slightly but will not affect its performance or quality.
• Avoid freezing the product in winter.
• Shelf life: 12 months.
• This product is non-flammable and non-explosive, and can be transported as general cargo.Construction Requirements
• Recommended Temperature: Between 5°C and 35°C.
• Surface Moisture Content: ≤10%, no visible water.
• Ambient Humidity: ≤85%.
• Not suitable for use in rain, snow, condensation, or direct strong sunlight.Application Process
1.Interface Treatment:
• Surface Cleaning: Ensure the base is solid, with no dust or grease.
• Water Dilution: Dilute according to standard ratios. This helps the product penetrate and densify the base, preventing hollowing or cracking of subsequent putty or plaster layers and expelling gas from capillaries or pores, avoiding bubbles in putty.
• Application: Use a roller to apply 1-2 coats evenly.2.Creating Surface Texture (Roughening):
• Surface Cleaning: Ensure the base is clean and solid.
• Mixing: Mix ordinary Portland cement (42.5 grade) with wall binder at a ratio of 1:0.5, and stir evenly.
• Roughening: Apply the mixed slurry to the base using a roller, and let it cure for 24 hours before proceeding with the next steps.
• Protection: After roughening, ensure it is protected to prevent damage.Precautions
• Do not use as a substitute for waterproof coatings or adhesives.
• Not suitable for powdery, greasy, or loose surfaces; these must be treated first.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or rain during application.
• Use the material as soon as the package is opened; if not used completely, seal it tightly for storage.
• Do not add extra water or mix with other materials as it may affect the effectiveness.
