Product Overview

Acrylate grouting material is a high-elasticity gel formed from acrylic monomers as the main agent, water as a diluent, and under the action of certain initiators and accelerators. This product does not contain toxic components typically found in polyacrylate-based grouts, making it an environmentally friendly chemical grouting material for water blocking and seepage prevention. It has a low viscosity and strong permeability, and the gel body exhibits excellent anti-permeability, viscoelasticity, and aging resistance.

Application Scope

1.Used for permanent water pressure-bearing building structures such as dams and reservoirs for seepage prevention curtain grouting.
2.Used for controlling water penetration and solidifying loose soil for waterproofing.
3.Used for seepage sealing in tunnels or the sealing of tunnel linings.
4.Used for seepage prevention and leakage sealing in underground buildings, basements, kitchens, bathrooms, and other wet areas.
5.Used for sealing cracks in concrete and rock structures to prevent water seepage.
6.Used for controlling water in the soil during tunnel excavation.

Product Features

1.The acrylic grouting material has an extremely low viscosity and good permeability, ensuring that the grout can penetrate gaps as narrow as 0.1mm.
2.The curing time is adjustable; rapid curing takes only 30 seconds to 2 minutes, while slow curing can take more than 10 minutes.
3.The gel body has high elasticity, with an elongation rate of up to 200%, effectively solving the problem of structural expansion and contraction.
4.No need for continuous contact with water; the added expansion components swell by more than 100% when in contact with water, solving the issue of dry-wet cycling of the gel.
5.The material has excellent adhesion to concrete surfaces, with the adhesive strength being greater than the gel body’s own strength. Even if the gel body itself is damaged, the adhesive bond remains intact.
6.It exhibits excellent chemical resistance to most acids and alkalis and is not affected by biological degradation.
7.Environmentally friendly and non-toxic, it does not pose any harm to humans.

Storage & transportation

The product consists of two components, A and B, which are water-based solutions. It is non-flammable, non-explosive, and non-toxic. Store it in plastic containers.

Application Process 

1.Drill holes or create grooves at the leaking points.
2.Water can be injected into the holes first to determine whether all cracks are connected or if more holes need to be drilled.
3.Use a manual or electric high-pressure pump for grouting. The injection pressure can be adjusted between 0.2-0.6MPa, and higher pressure can be applied based on the quality of sealing and the structure’s condition. This ensures that the grout penetrates the structure and the smallest gaps.
4.During the grouting process, if grout leakage occurs on the surface of the structure, the grouting should be immediately stopped. Use appropriate methods to seal the leakage points, then resume the grouting process.
