Product Overview
Polyurea grouting slurry is an elastic material that can cure in water and has a strong adhesion in wet conditions. It is a one-component material, injected into holes and cracks, and solidifies upon contact with water, forming a dense rubber-like elastic body that seals holes and cracks tightly. Once cured, it does not foam, shrink, or lose its rubber-like flexibility, providing long-lasting leak-proof effects. Because it is solvent-free, it does not cause pollution to the concrete surface. Engineering projects using this material typically show no leakage, requiring no rework. For cracks over 0.3mm, the traditional injection process with drilling and nail insertion can be replaced with a pressure filling method, greatly reducing labor costs.
Application Scope
Typical Fields: Concrete cracks, expansion joints, tunnels, subways, pipe corridors, etc., for leak remediation.
Special Scenarios: Vibration-prone areas (such as post-pouring strips, deformation joints) and composite structures that need to bond metal and concrete.Product Features
1.Excellent Strength: Polyurea grout undergoes a hydration reaction, forming fine crystals that significantly enhance the stability of concrete structures.
2.Outstanding Permeability: The particle size of the polyurea grout is only 0.05 microns, allowing it to penetrate deep into concrete cracks and effectively fill them, optimizing the overall structure of the concrete.
3.Powerful Clamping Pressure: Polyurea grout exhibits excellent clamping strength, making it outstanding in terms of seismic resistance, wind resistance, and impact resistance.
4.Superior Acid and Alkali Resistance: Due to its stable chemical properties, polyurea grout can effectively resist corrosion from various aggressive substances.
5.Convenient Construction Method: The grouting process is efficient and convenient, as it involves pressure injection into concrete.
6.Excellent Weather Resistance: Polyurea grout can withstand extreme weather conditions, including high temperatures, intense sunlight, and freezing temperatures.
7.Strong Chemical Resistance: The material has a high resistance to chemicals, effectively preventing corrosion and oxidation.
8.Efficient Anti-Seepage Properties: Its dense molecular structure makes polyurea waterproof materials an ideal choice for blocking water and other liquid penetration.
9.Strong Adhesion: Polyurea waterproof materials tightly bond with various substrates, making it resistant to peeling or detachment.
10.Good Repairability: Damaged or aged polyurea waterproof materials can be easily repaired or recoated to restore them, extending their service life.Storage & Transportation
Storage Precautions:
1.Temperature Control: Polyurea grouting slurry should be stored in an environment with temperatures between 10°C and 40°C. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, rain, and proximity to heat sources.
2.Sealed Storage: Ensure containers are sealed to prevent contact with moisture in the air, which could cause the material to cure.
3.Avoid Impact: During storage, avoid collisions to maintain the integrity of the packaging.
4.Good Ventilation: The storage environment should be dry, well-ventilated, and cool, away from fire sources, acids, alkalis, and other harmful substances.
5.Storage Period: Under normal storage conditions, the shelf life is 9 months from the date of production.Transportation Precautions:
1.Packaging Requirements: Polyurea grouting material is typically packaged in iron barrels. Ensure that the packaging is intact and undamaged.
2.Transportation Conditions: During transportation, avoid exposure to rain and impacts. Keep the packaging dry.
3.Temperature Control: During transport, avoid high or low temperatures and ensure that the material stays within the appropriate temperature range.
Non-Hazardous: Polyurea grouting slurry is not classified as a hazardous material but should be transported according to normal procedures.Application Process
1.Pre-Construction Preparation:
• Surveying and Measurement: Identify the grouting location, depth, and crack situation, and develop a construction plan.
• Surface Cleaning: Clean the base surface of oil, dust, and loose materials to ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and solid.
• Equipment Check: Ensure that grouting equipment (e.g., pumps, injection tubes) is functioning properly and free from blockages or damage.
• Safety Protection: Workers should wear protective gloves, masks, goggles, etc.2.Drilling and Hole Treatment:
• Drilling: According to the crack or leakage point situation, drill holes 50-150mm away from the cracks. The typical hole diameter is 14mm, and the depth is based on the design requirements.
• Hole Cleaning: Use a high-pressure cleaning machine or vacuum cleaner to remove debris and dust inside the holes to ensure smooth grouting.
• Install Water Stop Needle: Insert the water stop needle into the hole and check the integrity of the pipeline connection.3.Grout Preparation:
• Mix polyurea grouting material with water (if necessary) in the proportion specified by the manufacturer, stirring until it becomes a smooth, uniform mixture without particles or foam.
4.Grouting Construction:
• Grouting Sequence: Start grouting from the lowest point of the crack or hole, working upwards. Control the injection pressure and speed to avoid excessive pressure that could cause leakage.
• Observe Overflow: When grout begins to overflow from the opposite side of the crack, stop the grouting. For large cracks, you can grout in layers, with each layer curing before adding the next.5.Sealing and Curing:
• Sealing: After grouting, seal the holes with corrosion-resistant, high-temperature-resistant sealing materials (e.g., sealant).
• Curing: The curing time is 7-14 days, depending on the environmental temperature and the type of grouting material. During this period, avoid disturbing the grouting area.6.Quality Inspection:
• After curing, check whether the grouted area is smooth and free of leaks. If necessary, perform repairs.
Precautions
• The grouting sequence may need to be adjusted based on geological conditions. For areas with water flow, start grouting from the higher end of the water flow.
• After 28 days of grouting, the load-bearing or anti-seepage performance can be tested to ensure the project meets the required standards.
