Construction Requirements

1.Surface Requirements: The surface must be clean, free of loose particles, and dry, with a moisture content of no more than 5% for general surfaces and 10% for underground structures.
2.Material Consumption: Generally, 2-2.5 kg per square meter is required, with a thickness of 1.5-2 mm, applied in 2-3 layers. Apply evenly with a cross-coating method, and allow sufficient time (typically no less than 24 hours) between layers.
3.Protection of the Coating: To extend the waterproof layer's service life, a protective layer is recommended after coating. For roof applications, a cement-sand protective layer can be added.
Application Process
• Mixing Ratio: Use approximately 0.28 liters of clean water for every 1 kg of powder. Add the powder to the water gradually while stirring quickly until a smooth, lump-free, thick paste is formed.
• Quick Repair: For cracks or holes, chisel the surrounding concrete into a “V” shape with a width and depth of 20 mm. Clean the base thoroughly to remove loose particles, dust, and debris, and ensure the area is thoroughly wet before applying the mixture into the crack or hole, making sure it is completely filled for optimal bonding.
• Repairing Leaking Cracks: First, use Plugging King for quick sealing of visible water leaks, then strengthen the surrounding weak spots for further waterproofing. Finally, apply Plugging King waterproof coating to the repair site for optimal results.

Precautions

• The water-to-powder ratio can be adjusted depending on the substrate, weather, and construction conditions.
• The normal setting time is 5 minutes, but it may vary depending on the water amount and construction temperature.
• The product generates significant heat during solidification, so handle with care to avoid burns.
