Product Overview
Waterborne polyurethane grout is a polymer compound formed by a chemical polymerization reaction between polyisocyanates and water-soluble polyethers. This material uses water as a crosslinking agent, which reacts quickly upon contact with water, curing and expanding to seal cracks and block leakage channels, thus achieving waterproofing.
Key Selling Points
1.Excellent Waterproof Performance: Waterborne polyurethane grout offers superior waterproofing capabilities, effectively preventing water penetration and avoiding issues like wall seepage and leaks.
2.Good Crack Resistance: This material has excellent crack resistance, helping prevent wall cracking and instability, thereby enhancing the structural integrity of the wall.
3.Outstanding Durability: The material is highly durable and maintains its performance over a long period without degrading over time.
4.Easy to Apply: The material is easy to use. It simply requires the addition of an appropriate amount of water and mixing to ensure an even consistency.Application Scope
1.Waterproofing: It can be used for waterproofing various structures such as roofs, basements, bathrooms, etc.
2.Repairs: The material is suitable for repairing cracks, holes, and other damage in walls, floors, and ceilings.
3.Reinforcement: It can reinforce walls, floors, and ceilings, improving the load-bearing capacity of the structure.
4.Decoration: It can also be used for decorative purposes on wall surfaces, including as a wall coating or adhesive for tiles.Product Features
1.Water Reaction: Upon contact with water, the grouting material emulsifies, foams, and undergoes a chemical reaction to form an impermeable, elastic, gel-like solid with excellent leak-blocking and waterproofing properties.
2.Elastic and Durable: When reacting with water, it forms a white elastic gel-like solid with good extensibility, elasticity, and water resistance. It maintains its original form even after prolonged exposure to water.
3.Penetration: The material mixes well with water and can penetrate deep into cracks. The structure formed by the reaction with water fills and blocks leaks from all directions.
4.Secondary Penetration: During the reaction, CO₂ gas is released, which, through gas pressure, helps the material penetrate further into structural voids, demonstrating secondary permeability.
5.Good Expansion: The product has excellent expansion properties, a large water retention capacity, good foaming ability, and superior hydrophilicity and injectability.Storage & Transportation
1.Storage Conditions: The waterborne polyurethane grout should be stored in a sealed container in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment, away from open flames and heat sources. The storage temperature should be between -10°C and 40°C, and the relative humidity should be maintained below 85%. The product should be stored in its original packaging in a dry, well-ventilated indoor area, away from open flames and heat radiation. The shelf life under proper storage conditions is 12 months.
2.Transportation Precautions: During transportation, prevent exposure to rain and sunlight, and avoid collisions and drops. If the original packaging is damaged, it should be replaced with a new container promptly. Additionally, polyurethane grout should be protected from direct sunlight, rain, snow, and mechanical stress during transportation. They must not come into contact with acids, alkalis, plant oils, or organic solvents.
3.Safety during Use: During use, ensure the working environment is well-ventilated to avoid prolonged inhalation of harmful gases. Workers should wear appropriate protective equipment, such as gloves, masks, and safety goggles, to prevent direct contact between the resin and skin or eyes. The product should be kept away from the skin. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with a large amount of water and seek medical attention.Application Process
1.Assess Applicable Scenarios:
Only use this material in cracks or holes where there is visible water leakage (e.g., basements, swimming pools, tunnels, or other humid environments).
2.Preparation of Equipment and Materials:
• Use a high-pressure grouting pump designed for waterproofing to ensure that the pressure does not exceed the bearing capacity of the concrete structure.
• Choose water-soluble polyurethane grouting liquid (oil-based materials are suitable for non-visible water scenarios).3.Grouting Procedure:
• Start Point: Begin at the root or the lowest point of the crack and perform continuous grouting one hole at a time.
• Stop Condition: Cease grouting when grouting material overflows from the adjacent hole (pin) and immediately switch to the next hole.
• Sequence: Start from the bottom, move to the sides, and then the top, ensuring even filling of the material.
• Secondary Pressure: After completing all grouting holes, return to the first hole and apply secondary pressure to maximize the effect.Precaution
• Pressure Control: The pressure of the high-pressure grouting pump needs to be accurately adjusted to avoid damaging the concrete structure.
• Efficiency: The material cures quickly at low temperatures, which can reduce installation time and lower project costs.
