Cement-based crystalline waterproofing material is a gray powdered rigid material made from special silicate cement mixed with activated chemical components. The mechanism primarily relies on porosity. Under the action of water, the active chemicals in the material use water as a carrier. As water penetrates the structural pores, these chemicals penetrate into the interior and react to form insoluble crystals like calcium aluminate.

Application Scope

This product is suitable for new construction projects such as tunnels, underground continuous walls, cable tunnels, underground culverts, industrial and civil buildings, basements, underground garages, bathrooms, reservoirs, pools, swimming pools, elevator shafts, etc. It is also used for repairing leaks in cracked (micro-cracks) concrete, holes, and to address the issues of concrete facilities and cement mortar.

Storage and Transportation

2.Product Transportation: This is a water-based coating, so it can be transported as general goods.

Construction Requirements

• Clean and free from contaminants.
• Rough, sound, and structurally intact surface.
• Surface moisture level between 5% and 10%.
• Concrete strength of at least 20 MPa (2900 psi).
• No large cracks or voids; repair any significant damage.
• Concrete has cured sufficiently (7-14 days for new concrete).
• Ambient and substrate temperatures are within the recommended range (5°C to 35°C).

Application Process

1.Surface Repair: Repair any holes, cracks, or honeycomb structures on the surface before application.
2.Surface Cleaning: Clean the substrate of slurry, debris, oil, or any contaminants before starting construction.
3.Keep Surface: Moist: During application, ensure the substrate is sufficiently wet before coating.
4.Spray Mist: During Application: Sometimes, spray water while coating to keep the surface moist.
5.Post-Application Curing: Perform wet curing 6-8 hours after application, spraying water 2-3 times daily. Continue curing every other day (Do not use water immersion for curing).
